Up,up,and away

 Hello dears!

Sail away in the hot air balloon of your dreams....up,up and away we go to happier horizons!

Always be positive in life and believe in your dreams.

My first DT post is this hot air balloon mixed media layout "Up,up and away"

 

I have explained below step by step in pictures how to create this project.

Step 1:

Take a 12x12 pattern paper with matching theme of the project.

Step 2:

Take a hot air balloon stencil and place it on the layout where you want the design to be stenciled.

Step 3:Using black modelling paste and palette knife,add the stenciled design on the pattern paper.

Step 4:Diecut clouds from white cardstock and emboss dots design on it using embossing folder.Ink the edges using brown colour ink pad to give 3d effect for the border of clouds diecuts.

Step 5: Using double sided tape,stick one cloud diecut on the another to give a 3d effect.Step 6:Take another design stencil and add designs in various areas of the layout.

 Step7:Add the focal image of hot air balloon chipboard and cutout of vintage man and sisal fibre and steel circles embellishments to add the composition of the layout. Add blue and yellow  chalk paint splatters using a fan brush around the highlight areas of the layout.

Step 8:Add art stones in highlight areas for more dimension.Also add fine  silver glitter powder to get a background sparkle.The mixed media layout is ready!!!
